December
December was yet another disappointing month. The builder had told us he was going on holiday to Florida for part of the month 'but my men will still be coming as they have instructions' (erm, think you actually forgot to tell your men that, mate).
So what did they do?! Well, they laid a few more rounds of blockwork in the porch (one of them even told Kelvin's dad they were going to put the roof on - ha! Not likely).
They also dug out around the back of the kitchen and laid some steps and built a wall.
Mmmm this is the WHOLE of December's work.

December - a conclusion
As you can imagine we are all very fed up, December was a total nightmare. We thought people would be turning up and they didn't. In fact Kelvin was told by one of the builders 'don't get your hopes up we aren't coming to you we are going to .....' Kelvin didn't tell me this as he knew how gutted I would be. We were told by main builder he would be coming in between Christmas and New Year - what do you reckon? Nope, nobody turned up then either. So much for everything will be finished by 2003......... we should have known better.
