This month wasn't very good. The builders weren't on site very much (story of our lives it seems) and therefore not much improvement was made.

Kelvin made the first delivery of sand for the building to actually start. It was such a momentous occasion that Lauren and I came up to the house to witness it!

Do we really need this much cement?!

The kitchen trenches were finished and the Building Inspector came out - he wanted certain bits dug deeper which they were. The trenches were then filled in with concrete thus making the foundations. This was then duly passed by building control.

September - a conclusion

It is blindingly obvious that we will not be moving back in for when the baby comes. I think if truth were known it has been obvious for quite a while (I lived in hope!). I have absolutely no idea when it will be finished - by Christmas maybe?
